🛡️ Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

Applies to: All Ivorycom customers (“Sellers”) and their use of the Ivorycom platform

1. Purpose and scope

Ivorycom LLC (“Ivorycom”, “we”, “us”) provides a business-to-business customer relationship and revenue platform. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines what may and may not be done using the Ivorycom platform, including our invoicing and payment request features.

This AUP applies to every Seller, every user acting under a Seller’s account, and all activity conducted through the platform. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Ivorycom Terms of Service. Acceptance of this AUP is a condition of account creation and of continued use of the platform.

Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Ivorycom Terms of Service.

2. Relationship to payment provider policies

Ivorycom is not a payment processor, money transmitter, or merchant of record. Ivorycom does not hold, route, escrow, or take control of Seller funds. Where a Seller connects a third-party payment account (including a PayPal business account), payments settle directly into that Seller’s own account under that Seller’s own agreement with the payment provider.

Sellers using PayPal through Ivorycom must comply with the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy and the PayPal User Agreement, which are incorporated into this AUP by reference. Where this AUP and a payment provider’s policy differ, the more restrictive requirement applies. Compliance with this AUP does not relieve a Seller of any obligation owed directly to a payment provider, and a payment provider may independently restrict, hold, or terminate a Seller’s account regardless of the Seller’s standing with Ivorycom.

3. Eligibility

To use Ivorycom, a Seller must:

  • be a business or a person acting in a business capacity, operating lawfully in the United States;
  • be at least 18 years of age and able to form a binding contract;
  • provide accurate and current business identity information, and keep it current;
  • complete any identity or business verification required by Ivorycom or by a connected payment provider; and
  • hold an active paid subscription in order to connect a payment account or issue payment requests.

Ivorycom does not onboard consumers, casual sellers, or individuals not operating as a business. Ivorycom may decline any application, at our discretion, without stating a reason.

4. Prohibited business categories

This list is not exhaustive. Ivorycom may treat any activity presenting comparable legal, regulatory, or consumer-harm risk as prohibited.

5. Prohibited conduct

Regardless of business category, Sellers may not:

Misuse of invoicing and payment requests

  • Issue an invoice or payment request to a party with whom the Seller does not have a genuine, pre-existing commercial relationship
  • Request payment for goods or services that have not been, and will not be, provided
  • Issue invoices on behalf of, or for the benefit of, a third party — including any arrangement in which the Seller acts as a conduit, aggregator, or front for another business
  • Use a payment request to obtain a cash advance, to convert a payment instrument to cash, or to move funds between accounts under common control
  • Split a single transaction across multiple payment requests to evade limits, fees, or review
  • Misrepresent the Seller’s identity, business, scope of work, or the nature of a transaction to a buyer or to a payment provider
  • Send unsolicited invoices or payment requests, in bulk or otherwise

Platform misuse

  • Access the platform without authorization, or attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or entitlement checks
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform, or breach or circumvent any security measure
  • Use the platform to transmit malware, or to conduct phishing, spoofing, or social engineering
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data other than the Seller’s own data through supported interfaces
  • Interfere with the platform’s operation, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide platform access to a third party except as expressly permitted
  • Create accounts to evade a prior suspension or termination

Data and privacy

  • Upload or process personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate notice to data subjects
  • Upload payment card numbers, full bank credentials, government identification numbers, or health records into free-text fields or unsupported locations
  • Use buyer data obtained through the platform for any purpose other than the transaction it relates to
  • Violate any applicable privacy, data protection, marketing, or anti-spam law, including the CAN-SPAM Act and the TCPA

Artificial intelligence features

  • Use Ivorycom’s AI features to generate content that is deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful
  • Rely on AI-generated output as legal, tax, financial, or professional advice
  • Represent AI-generated content as reviewed or endorsed by Ivorycom

6. Seller responsibilities

Each Seller is solely responsible for:

  • the legality of its business and of every transaction it conducts;
  • the accuracy of every invoice, quote, scope of work, and payment request it issues;
  • delivering the goods or services it invoices for;
  • its own tax obligations, licensing, and regulatory compliance;
  • its relationship with, and any dispute involving, its own buyers; and
  • its own agreement with, and standing under, any connected payment provider.

Ivorycom is not a party to any transaction between a Seller and its buyer. Ivorycom does not adjudicate, mediate, or arbitrate disputes between a Seller and its buyer. Disputes and claims arising from payments follow the connected payment provider’s resolution process, and that provider’s determination is final.

7. Monitoring and enforcement

Ivorycom monitors platform activity for indicators of prohibited categories or conduct, including dispute and chargeback rates surfaced by connected payment providers, payment failure and refund patterns, invoice and payment request patterns consistent with abuse, and complaints or reports received.

Where we identify an actual or suspected violation, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

  • request information, documentation, or clarification from the Seller;
  • restrict or disable specific features, including payment request issuance;
  • suspend the Seller’s account pending review;
  • terminate the Seller’s account and agreement;
  • retain records as required by law or by a payment provider; and
  • report the activity to a payment provider, law enforcement, or a regulator where we believe reporting is required or appropriate.

We will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where circumstances permit. We may act immediately and without notice where we reasonably believe there is a risk of unlawful activity, harm to buyers or third parties, harm to a payment provider, or harm to Ivorycom.

Ivorycom’s decisions under this section are made at our discretion. Nothing in this AUP obligates us to monitor, and no failure to act on a violation waives our right to act on it later.

8. Reporting violations

To report a suspected violation of this AUP, contact abuse@ivorycomcrm.com with the Seller or account involved, a description of the activity, and any supporting information. We review every report and act where warranted. We do not disclose the outcome of a report except where required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP as our platform, our payment provider requirements, or applicable law change. Material changes take effect thirty (30) days after we post the updated policy and notify Sellers, except that changes required by law, by a regulator, or by a payment provider may take effect immediately. Continued use of the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

The current version is always available at https://ivorycomcrm.com/acceptable-use.
